Day 30 of fitness plan


Michelle and I went to a Christmas party yesterday at Brian and Angela Morris’s house. We had a good time, and I ate lots of good stuff there. I didn’t even attempt to count my Weight Watchers points. Then we went to Lola’s 2nd birthday party at Brandon and Emily’s house and I had cake and ice cream there. I guess I’ll just have to get back on the wagon today and try to undo the damage I did.

I finally managed to move up to week 3 of the push-up plan, but I didn’t make it through the prescribed work-out. My shoulders are killing me, but I’m going to push on through.

In college, I took a weight-lifting class to satisfy my PE requirement, and the biggest thing I remember is that they way to improve is to push yourself to the point of failure. I really gained a lot of muscle that semester, so maybe it’s a good thing that I can’t quite do the push-up workout.

Weight:281.0 pounds

Yesterday’s water:Zero 1-liter bottles of tap water. I never bothered to look for my water bottle and ended up just drinking Diet Coke all day.
