Day 28 of fitness plan


Six days in a row that I haven’t cheated on my diet. Michelle and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner up in Liberty after Jake’s basketball game last night, and I was sorely tempted to get a big ol’ prime rib and mashed potatoes, but I was a good boy. I settled for chicken breast and steamed vegetables. It was a hell of a lot cheaper too.

I was also surprised to discover that the side salad had more points in it than the chicken. The salad had croutons, eggs, cheese, and Italian dressing for a total of about 10 points. If I had just had lettuce and with fat-free dressing, it would have been zero points.

Weight:278.0 pounds

Exercise:Today is my weekly day-off from both the pushup plan and the running plan, so I just took Ollie for a long walk again. I walked from home through the woods all the way up to Truman Road and Swope Drive where all the road construction is. It took about 45 minutes.

Yesterday’s water:One 1-liter bottle of tap water. Oops, I left the bottle in the back of the car and just totally forgot to drink the second liter.
